How did you come up with the name Consilium Group?
The origins of the word counsel stem from the Latin word, consilium. Consilium meant advice. Consilium Group is a team of veteran operational leaders within the restaurant and hospitality industries. We provide trusted counsel, and focus on your specific goals and how to achieve them through both innovative thinking and time tested management truths.

We specialize in the hospitality and foodservice industry. We work equally with business-to-consumer models and business-to-business models. The principles we apply also work well in other industries - and we sometimes work with select companies outside of our primary market - but foodservice and hospitality is our niche.

What kind of results does Consilium Group typically get for clients?
It varies by client and the nature of each project. We always aim for double digit improvements and a minimum of two times return on our client's investment. Factors include scope of project, market and economic conditions, current health of the business, follow through and buy in from the staff. We work with clients to determine appropriate quantifiable results; from there we develop action plans and then implement those plans.
